The second season of Westworld is currently underway on Sky; the series imagines a Western theme park populated by sentient robots, where visitors may indulge their whims and fantasies. Perhaps inevitably, many visitors choose to indulge their darker desires. Like many sci-fi fables, Westworld uses its exotic premise to ask deeper philosophical questions about what defines humanity, and when a robot might become more than a machine.
