Option2 – Could try showing the group of characters, shambolic family life. Round a dinner table, all squashed up on the sofa, maybe we don’t see their faces, AS – 68yo matriarch – grey hair, Margaret Thatcher style. P – in her 30s, pregnant – dresses ‘like a toddler’ (maybe dungarees would be good) C – 13yo granddaughter – wears a colourful vintage jumpsuit. A – C’s 13yo trans friend – boy dressed in a prom gown. We want that element of quirkiness and colour!
